2 cups flour
1½ tsp . baking powder
¾ cups flour
½ cup ( one stick) unsalted butter at room temp
⅛ tsp salt
2 eggs
¾ cup chopped pecans
⅔c toffee bits with chocolate

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
Using a mixer, beat the sugar, butter, and salt to blend. Beat in eggs 1 at a time. Add flour,
salt, baking powder, and beat until blended. By hand stir in the nuts and toffee bits.
Form dough into a 13 inch long X3 inch wide log on the parchment.
Bake for 40 minutes until light golden brown. Cool for 30 minutes.
Place log on a cutting board and using a sharp serrated knife cut into diagonal ½" thick slices.
Arrange, cut side down, on a baking sheet with new parchment. Bake 15 min and transfer
to a wire rack and cool completely.
