Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 3/4 cups AP flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
2 Tbs milk
1 tsp vanilla
about 48 candy kisses, unwrapped
extra white sugar

Directions:
Directions:
1. Cream together butter and peanut butter. Add sugars and cream together until fluffy and mixed well. Add egg, milk, and vanilla. Mix well.

2. In a separate bowl, mix together dry ingredients. Add dry ingredients to wet and mix until dough forms. Refrigerate dough until dough firms up and is easy to handle (at least one hour; can refrigerate overnight).

3. Form small balls of dough (about 1 1/2 Tbs) and roll into balls. Roll balls in white sugar. Place on cookie sheet lined with parchment paper or a silpat liner. (Don't grease the pan.) Bake at 375 F for 10 minutes.

4. Remove pan from oven and immediately firmly press a candy kiss into the center of each cookie. Press down until kiss sinks into cookie. Let cookies cool on baking pan on a wire rack.
