1 c granulated sugar
1/2 c butter
2 eggs
3-4 medium to large very ripe bananas, mashed
pinch of salt
2 c sifted all purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 c of chopped walnuts or pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º . Grease & flour a bundt cake pan.

Mash the bananas in a separate bowl extremely well. Set aside.

Cream together sugar & butter until smooth. Add the eggs & mix together well.
Add the sifted flour and baking soda to the sugar mixture slowly, blend together well.

Add the banana mixture to sugar/flour mixture. mix together well.

Add the nuts & blend thoroughly. Place mixture in pan and bake for about 1 hour.

Let cool before removing from pan. Frost as desired or sprinkle with confectioners sugar.

It is important the banana mixture is totally mashed up to get the flavor in your cake. I mash then whisk.
