30 oz. package frozen shredded hash browns
2 cans cream of chicken soup
16 oz. tub sour cream
1-2 cups grated cheddar cheese
1/2 cup butter (1 cube)
1 medium onion, diced
salt, pepper, season salt

Directions:
Directions:
1. Sauté onion in butter until onion is tender.

2. Mix soup, sour cream, and cheese together in large mixing bowl.

3. Pile hash browns on top of cheese mixture. Before mixing, pour butter and onion mixture on top of the hash browns. Then mix everything together.

4. Pour everything into a 9x13 pan. Bake covered for 1 hour at 350 F. Uncover and bake an additional 20-30 minutes.
