2 lb. ground beef
1 med. onion diced small

½ sleeve saltine crackers crumbled up fine. (can substitute 1/2 - 2/3 cup dry instant rice)

1 egg
¼ c. milk
¼ bell pepper diced up small.
¼ c. ketchup or BBQ sauce
pepper to your taste

glaze topping:
¼ c. ketchup
¼ c. brown sugar blend together until smooth.

Directions:
Directions:
In a large mixing bowl break apart ground beef. Add onion, cracker crumbs, egg, milk, bell pepper, ketchup and pepper to taste. Mix up by hand until well blended. In a cake pan shape in to a rectangular loaf leave space on sides of pan. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes take out and top with glaze topping. Spread on top and on side. Return to oven and bake for 20 more minutes. Take out let set for 5 to 10 minutes and cut and serve.

Prepare ketchup glaze while it is baking.
