Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 c. white sugar
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1 c. raw pecans
1 tsp butter
1 tsp vanilla
dash of salt
1 tsp baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Generously butter a large cookie sheet. Combine sugar and corn syrup in a 2 qt glass bowl and microwave on high for 3 1/2 - 4 minutes. Stir in pecans and microwave on high 3 minutes more. Stir in butter, salt and vanilla and microwave 30-40 seconds. Stir in baking soda until light and fluffy. This mixture will foam up rather quickly, so take care as to not get any on you as it will burn like crazy! Pour mixture onto cookie sheet and spread thin. Cool completely and break into pieces to serve

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This is the same recipe as peanut brittle but when using the pecans, decrease the cooking time or it will burn.
