1/2 c. sugar
3 heaping TBsp flour
3 rounded tsp baking cocoa powder
3 egg yolks
1 1/2 milk
1 tsp vanilla

Meringue
Egg whites
1/4 tsp cream of tartar
6 TBsp sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Whisk flour, sugar, and cocoa together. Separate eggs, reserving the whites for meringue if making pies. Beat egg yolks with a fork, and add to flour, sugar. Add milk and cook on med-low until thick. Add vanilla at the very end.

Meringue
Beat egg whites and cream of tartar until stiff peaks are formed. Add sugar one tablespoon at a time, beating well after each addition.

Put pudding in pie shell, then top with meringue. Bake at 350º until lightly browned.
