4 T. butter
2 Granny Smith apples
4 eggs
1 c. milk
2/3 c. whole wheat flour
1/2 t. salt
1 t. vanilla
1 T. sugar

2 T. brown sugar
cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425º. Put butter in a glass casserole dish or glass 9 x 13 and melt in preheated oven. Remove and layer thinly sliced apples in pan. Bake a short time until apples begin to soften. Beat eggs and rest of batter ingredients and pour on top of apples. Sprinkle with 2 T. brown sugar and sprinkle cinnamon on top. Bake for 20 minutes.
