1 cup unsalted butter, softened
2½ cups powdered sugar
1 Tbsp vanilla
Pinch of salt
20 peppermint candies, finely crushed

Directions:
Directions:
Beat butter at medium speed with an electric mixer 3 minutes until creamy. Reduce speed to low; gradually add powdered sugar, vanilla and salt and beat until blended. Add crushed candies; beat 5 minutes until mixture is blended, and frosting (not counting candies) is smooth. Makes 2½ cups - enough for 24 cupcakes.
