3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup (or more) pecans - chopped
1 cup crushed pretzels
3/4 cup butter, melted

2 cups (or more) diced strawberries
1/2 cup granulated sugar
8 oz. whipped topping
8 oz. cream cheese
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
1. Mix together crushed pretzels, brown sugar, melted butter and chopped pecans.

2. Spread on large cookie sheet with sides and bake at 400º for 7-8 minutes. Allow to cool and break into small pieces.

3. Beat together softened cream cheese, granulated sugar and vanilla.

4. Fold in whipped topping.

5. Before serving, stir in diced strawberries and sugared pretzel mixture into cream cheese mixture.

NOTE: To me this is much easier than the layered pretzel salad and my family likes it better.
