1 egg
1 c. sugar
2 c. flour
⅛ tsp. baking powder
2¼ c. water (I cut water down to 2 c.)
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Beat together egg & sugar. Mix in flour, baking powder, water & vanilla.

Procedure:
1. Use deep fryer or other grease tank.
2. We recommend corn oil.
3. Temperature of corn oil should be 340º - 360º.
4. Place waffle iron in hot oil for 1 minute.
5. Put iron in batter to within ⅛ inch from top of iron.
6. Place ¼ inch into grease until waffle flares, then submerge until bubbling almost stops, remove & take off the waffle.
7. Dip iron into oil & start next waffle.
