2½ lbs. chicken
¼ c. flour
1 tsp. salt
½ tsp. pepper
¼ c. salad oil
1 medium can small onions
1 medium green pepper, cut in strips
4 oz. can mushrooms, drained
1 small clove garlic, minced
10½ oz. can tomatoes
½ c. water
2 T. vinegar or lemon juice
1 T. Worcestershire sauce
½ tsp. oregano

Directions:
Directions:
Rinse chicken pieces and pat dry. Roll in flour, season with salt & pepper. Brown chicken in skillet in oil, remove chicken. Saute onion, green pepper, mushrooms & garlic in same skillet. Blend in remaining ingredients. Add chicken, cover & simmer about 30 minutes or until chicken is done. (May be cooked in oven at 350º if desired)
