2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
1 cup chopped celery
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup chopped carrots
2 lbs. lean ground beef
1/2 lb. margarine
1 cup flour
2 quarts water
7 tsp. beef bouillon granules ( 1cube= 3 1/2 tsp. granules)
2 tsp. Accent
1 lb. can solid wedge tomatoes ( 14.5 ounce can)
1/2 tsp. salt
Garlic powder (to taste)
Pepper (to taste)

parboil for 3 minutes: mixed vegetables, celery, onion, and carrots

sauté: ground beef and drain

Melt: margarine in large kettle, slowly add 1 cup flour and 2 quarts water ( including reserved vegetable juices)

Add: bouillon granules, which have been softened in 1/3 cup hot water
accent, tomatoes, salt, and garlic and pepper to taste

Combine meat, sauce and vegetable mixtures and simmer for 2 to 3 hours.

Made 1/2 recipe for Jimmy and I : only 1 bowl of leftovers.

Can be prepared and put in crockpot on low for 4 hrs to cook.
