1 Lg. onion, chopped
2-3 T Butter
3 Stalks celery chopped
1 Chicken, cool, boil,chop
4 C Chicken broth including the cooking liquid from the chicken
2 T Corn starch
1/2 C Cold water
1 C Green chili
1 pkg. Corn tortillas cut in 1/4's
1 lb. Grated cheese

Preheat oven to 350º

Brown onion and celery in butter, cooking until translucent, put the corn starch in 1/2 c cold water and dissolve. Gradually add it to the broth from cooking the chicken. Please note: If you don't have 4 C of liquid add a little broth. Thicken until I;s like gravy, add to the onion mixture, stir and add chicken, green chili, and salt and pepper to taste. , mixing thoroughly. In a 9x13" pan or large casserole, greased, put a layer of tortillas, layer of chicken mix, a layer of cheese, and repeat until you have used everything, putting a layer of cheese on top. Cook for 30 minutes.
