1 cup sugar
½ light corn syrup
½ cup water
½ teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon baking soda
Raw peanuts

Directions:
Directions:
In small sauce pan, cook sugar, syrup, and water to a soft-boil stage (234 to 240 degrees). Add raw peanuts. Continue cooking until syrup is light brown and meets hard-crack test (300 to 310 degrees). Remove from heat. Add vanilla and soda. Mix well. Pour onto oiled baking sheet, spreading thin as possible. When mixture is nearly cooked, wet hands in cold water, and turn candy over stretching to desired thinnest. Cut into squares or break into pieces.
