1/2 lb small pasta shells
1.5 lb broccoli florets
2 tsp olive oil
1 15 oz can black beans, drained and rinsed
1 cup fat free chicken broth
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper
3 tbsp prepared pesto sauce
3 tbsp. grated parmesan cheese

Directions:
Prepare pasta according to package, add the broccoli the last 2 minutes of cooking, drain.
In skillet, heat oil over medium heat, add the beans, broth, garlic and pepper flakes, bring to a boil. Let simmer until sauce begins to thicken, about 5 minutes. Stir in pesto and parmesan cheese, add the pasta and broccoli, toss to coat
