5 egg yolks
1 cup sugar
1 cup sifted cake flour
1 tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. salt
5 T. cold strong coffee
1 tsp. vanilla
5 egg whites
1 cup ground nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Beat yolks till stiff and yellow. Add sugar, blend well. Sift flour, baking powder, and salt 3 times. Add alternately with coffee and vanilla mix well. Beat egg whites very stiff. Carefully fold in batter, add nuts along with whites. Pour into 2 ungreased pans. Bake at 350º for 25 to 30 minutes.
