3 lb beef round
salt, pepper, flour
6 strips bacon
2 cloves garlic
1 C beef bouillion
1½ C dry red wine
12 small white onions
¼-½ lb sliced mushrooms
2-3 carrots sliced

Directions:
Directions:
Cut beef into slices and toss in flour/pepper/salt mixture
Fry bacon, crumble and place in casserole dish
Saute garlic in bacon drippings
Brown beef strips in garlic and bacon drippings
Place beef atop bacon in casserole

Brown mushrooms in same skillet and add to casserole
Add bouillon to skillet, add wine and bring to boil.
Pour over top of casserole
Add onions, mushrooms and carrots

Cover and bake at 300º for 3 hours
