1 pkg of yeast
1-1/4 cup warm water
2 tbsp of honey
2 tbsp of butter
1 tsp of salt
3 cups of flour

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Stir in honey. Add butter, salt ans 2 cups of flour. Beat on low speed until blended. Increase speed to high and beat 1 minute. Scrape bowl and beat 1 minute more. Stir in remaining flour. Cover and let rise in warm place until doubled about 45 minutes.

Grease an 8-1/2 x 4-1/2 inch loaf pan. Let rise 45 minutes. Bake at 350º F for 30 to 35 minutes.

My great-grandmother used to make this bread early in the morning for us. I can still remember waking up to the smell of fresh baked bread while at her house. One of my favorite memories.
