1 box of Banza penne pasta (this protein packed chickpea pasta is available at Target)
1/2 package of Johnsonville sweet Italian sausage (no casing)
6-8 oz. baby bella mushrooms, sliced
Handful of fresh sage leaves (optional)
3/4 cups whipping cream
1 clove garlic minced
1 cup of freshly grated Parmesan cheese
White truffle oil to taste
3-4 tbsp butter
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Step 1: Bring a pot of salted water to a rolling boil; add Banza stirring occasionally. Cook for 9 minutes. Strain and return to pot.
Step 2: Cook sausage and mushrooms in a large pan/skillet over medium heat until sausage and mushrooms are cooked thoroughly, about 10 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
Step 3: While pasta, sausage, and mushrooms are cooking, place butter in a small saucepan on low/medium heat with sage leaves and minced garlic. When butter has melted, add whipping cream and keep on low heat. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted. Add salt, pepper, and drizzle with truffle oil to taste.
Step 4: Add sausage, mushrooms, and sauce into pot with pasta. Mix together.
Step 5: Enjoy!
