Chocolate Chip Scones Recipe

2 1/2 cups of blanched almond flour
1/2 tsp. sea salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/3 cup coconut oil, soften
1/4 honey
2 large organic eggs
1 cup coarsely chopped dark chocolate (73% cacao or higher) or 2 Beyond Organic Chocolate bars

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º
Line baking sheets with parchment paper or rub baking sheets with coconut oil or spray with grapeseed or olive oil

Put dry ingredients in a bowl.
In a smaller bowl, combine wet ingredients.
Mix wet into dry ingredients until combined-then fold in chopped chocolate.

Bake 10-15 minutes, until golden brown or a toothpick inserted in center of scone comes out clean.
Important: Let scones cool on baking sheets for 30 minutes prior to removing them.

I think I could eat the whole batch of these they are so good! It does have dark chocolate so Aaron is not a fan because of that. These are a healthy version of something similar to chocolate chip cookies. They are great for breakfast too!
