2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
½ tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda

2 sticks butter
1 c. water
4 T. cocoa

½ c. milk + 1 T. vinegar (if you have buttermilk no need for vinegar)
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs

Directions:
In large bowl mix together sugar, flour, salt & baking powder.
In small bowl mix together butter, water & cocoa. Boil until butter melts.
Mix all together with milk/vinegar, vanilla & eggs
Bake at 350º for 20 minutes
 

Frosting

1 stick soft butter
3 T. cocoa
1 box powdered sugar
6 T. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Mix together butter, cocoa, powdered sugar, milk & vanilla.
Frost cake when it comes out of oven
