1 C butter
⅔ C sugar
1 egg
1 t vanilla
2½ C flour

Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Beat in egg and vanilla. Stir in flour. Chill 3 to 4 hours in refrigerator.

Preheat oven to 350. Roll out to 1/4 inch thick and cut with cookie cutters. Bake 8-10 minutes.
