1 cup butter
2 cups sugar
1 cup salad oil
2 tsp cream of tartar
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla
pinch salt
2 eggs
5 cups flour
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar; add eggs, oil, salt and vanilla. After measuring, sift dry ingredients together, and mix well into creamed mixture. Roll into balls. Roll balls in sugar and smoosh down with fork onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake 10 minutes at 350º until lightly brown on edges.
