Ingredients:
Ingredients:
3- 10 oz. jars maraschino cherries, drained
1 ½ lbs. powdered sugar
½ c. butter (softened)
⅔ c. sweetened condensed milk
⅛ tsp. vanilla
9 oz. real chocolate chips
⅛ bar paraffin wax, shredded

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, butter, milk, and vanilla to a smooth consistency (use a spoon or knead with hands). Using a teaspoonful, form into balls, then flatten enough to wrap it around a cherry. Place on trays to chill in refrigerator. Makes about 90 cherries. When cherries are chilled, melt chocolate and paraffin wax together in a double boiler. Using a fork or toothpick, dip cherries into chocolate. Place on a waxed paper covered tray and set aside to dry before storing. These are best when made several weeks ahead. Centers will soften after setting.
