½ cp. cornstarch
water, divided
1 envelope unflavored gelatin
½ cp. detergent powder or soap flakes
food coloring

Directions:
Directions:
Mix cornstarch with ¾ cp. cold water in medium saucepan.
Meanwhile, soak gelatin in ½ cp. cold water.
Stir 2 cps. hot water into starch mixture; cook over med. heat. Blend in softened gelatin.
Add detergent powder or soap and stir till dissolved.
Divide into jars. Add few drops of food coloring in each.
Store in cool place with tight lid.
