4 lbs. beef brisket
4 oz bottle liquid smoke
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Salt and pepper brisket and brown for 30 mins. in 400 degree oven.
Remove from oven and wrap meat completely in foil. Before sealing tightly, pour liquid smoke over meat. Reduce oven temperature to 275 degrees and cook for 4 hours. Remove from oven and refrigerate. When cold, slice thinly. Reheat at serving time and drizzle reserved juices over meat.
