4 eggs
2 1/2 cup Flour
2 c. Sugar
1/4 t. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
Anise flavoring (add to your taste) Start with tsp. and add til you can smell it in the dough.....

Beat eggs til frothy. Gradually add in sugar. Begin adding Anise. Mix in baking powder and flour slowly. Dough will be real thick. Refrigerate dough for at least 2-6 hours or overnight. Allow the dough to set out 10-15 minutes. Then roll dough out to about 1/4' thick and use biscuit cutter to cut out cookies. If dough begins to get sticky, put back in fridge for a bit. Bake cookies 8-12 minutes; just til edges begin to get golden. Do not overbake or you will have a VERY hard cookie.
