1 lb. round or sirloin steak, ¼ inch
1 cut in half clove of garlic
2 tablespoons flour
1½-2 tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
½ cup minced onion
¼ cup margarine or oil
1 cup condensed mushroom soup (undiluted)
Mushrooms (optional)
1 cup sour cream

Directions:

Trim beef, tenderize, and rub both sides with garlic. Combine flour, salt, and pepper and dredge meat in. Cut meat in bite size pieces. Brown onion, in heated oil, lightly in large skillet. Remove to kettle. Place meat in skillet and brown well on all sides. Put in kettle with onion and scrap all brown from skillet using water if necessary. Cover and simmer 15 minutes. Add soup and mushrooms. Cover and cook over low heat till meat is tender (1-1½ hour). Before serving stir in sour cream. Serve over noodles.
