Ingredients:  
1 pound of sliced strawberries
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons pine nuts
a pinch of ground cloves

Directions:
Directions:
Combine berries, vinegar, and one tablespoon of sugar in a bowl. Combine the other tablespoon of sugar, the pine nuts and cloves and a heavy skillet and stir over medium low heat until the sugar melts in the pilots are golden brown, about four minutes. Scoop your ice cream in a bowl and top with the strawberries and then the nuts.
