1 c butter
1 c shortening
3 c. sugar
4 eggs
4-6 squares baker's chocolate or 1 c cocoa + 3 TB butter(if its not dark enough add more)
7 c flour
2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp salt
2 c milk
4 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter, shortening, and sugar. Add eggs and bakers chocolate. Ina separate bowl combine flour soda and salt. In another small bowl mix together milk and vanilla. Alternate chocolate, four and milk mixtures until well blended. Can add 2 c. chopped walnuts.
Bake 350º for 12 min. frost with chocolate frosting of your choice while still warm.

This makes a lot of cookies. I have made the cookie dough into balls and frozen them and they still cook up great. They are like cake cookies.
