3 lbs russet potatoes, sliced very thin
1/2 onion, sliced thin
9 T flour
6 T butter, cut into this slices
3 C whole milk or cream, better if a mixture of both
salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º

Spray Pam on large rectangular baking dish (9X13). Spread 1/3 of potatoes, then onion 1/3 onions, sprinkle 1/3 of flour, then a few pats of butter, salt and paper, put a little milk. Then repea. Then put last 1/3 of potatoes, onions, butter in dish. Warm remaining milk and pour over potato mixture, till level with top row of potatoes.

Bake until tender. 1 hour, to 1-1/2 hours. Let cool for 10 minutes.
