French Blueberry Pie Recipe

1 c. flour
1 c. finely chopped nuts
½ c. softened butter
¼ c. brown sugar
1 pkg. Dream Whip
¾ c. sugar
1 (8 oz.) softened cream cheese
1 can blueberry pie filling

Directions:
Directions:
1. Mix to combine the first 4 ingredients.
2. Mash on sides and bottom of pie pan to make crust. (I sometimes use an 8 x 11.5 cake pan)
3. Bake at 350º F for 10-12 min.
4. Cool.
5. Mix Dream Whip according to directions.
6. Add sugar and cream cheese. Beat until smooth and creamy.
7. Put Dream Whip mixture into cooled pie crust.
8. Spread pie filling on top.
9. Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.

If you use a pie pan, make sure it has high sides. The Dream Whip mixture will overflow if your pie pan sides are too low.


Instead of blueberry pie filling, you can use 1 lg. pkg. of frozen strawberries thawed. Mix them with 2 Tbsp. cornstarch. Bring to a boil stirring constantly. Cool and spread on top.
