2 lbs of top sirloin steak, slice it lengthwise, to make it very thin, and cut into serving sized pieces
3 T bacon grease
salt and pepper
some flour

Directions:

Preheat oven to 300º

Heat grease in a skillet. Salt and pepper, and flour each side of meat. Brown in skillet, each side for a couple minutes. Remove and place in a baking dish with a lid.

In same skillet, add a tablespoon or two of flour to begin gravy. Cook that on medium for a minute. Then, add some water, about 1/2 cup, and heat to boiling, Then maybe a little more water if it gets too thick. Add pepper. Pour this gravy over the meat in baking dish. Cover and bake for about 1-1/2 hours. Turn stove down to 200 and you can bake a little longer if desired.
