2-3lbs canning peaches
4c water
1c sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Allow 2-3lbs of peaches per quart. Peel, halve and core. Treat with ascorbic-acid color-keeper solution. Cut in half or slice peaches. Fill jars with fruit leaving 1inch headspace. Make brine by bringing sugar and water to a boil. Fill fruit filled jars with brine leaving 1/2 inch headspace. Process pints for 25 minutes and quarts for 30 minutes in boiling-water canner.
