1/2lb pickling cucumbers
1tsp mustard seed
3/4c cider vinegar
4-6heads fresh dill or 2-3Tbsp dill seed
1 3/4c water
1T pickling salt

Directions:
Directions:
Thoroughly rinse cucumbers. Remove stems and cut off a slice from each blossom end. Pack cucumbers loosely into hot, sterilized quart jars, leaving 1/2inch headspace. Add dill and mustard seed. Make a brine by combining water, vinegar and salt. Bring to boiling. Pour hot brine over cucumbers, leaving 1/2inch headspace. Adjust lid. Process in a boiling-water canner for 15 minutes. Let stand 1 week before opening.
NOTE: Makes only 1 quart. Multiply recipe by how many quarts you plan to make.
