1 cup margarine
1 cup flour
2 cup onion
1 cup celery
¾ c chopped green pepper
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup minced ham
1 pkg frozen okra
1 8 oz can tomato sauce
1 can tomatoes
5 cups chicken broth
1 t pepper
1 t salt
1 t worsterchire sauce
1 t tabasco
2 bay leaves
1# shrimp
1 pt oysters
½ pound crab meat

Directions:
Directions:
Make a roux from butter and flour....Melt butter; whisk in flour on low heat. Slow cook til roux is light brown.
In another pan...Saute celery, peppers and ham in margarine until tender....add okra and saute 2 minutes.
Mix together sauted mixture and roux. Simmer with mixture with 2 bay leaves and 1/4 tsp. gumbo file. Simmer for 25 – 30 minutes.
Serve over cooked rice.
