4 cups Tart Apples
½ cup All-purpose Flour
½ cup Packed Brown Sugar
¼ cup Butter
½ tsp Salt, if butter is unsalted
1 tsp Cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat Over to 375º

2. Pare, core, peel and slice the Apples. Place apples into a 9-inch pie pan or dish.

3. Work like pastry with a pastry blender or with finger tips: Flour, Brown Sugar, Butter, Salt and Cinnamon. The mixture must be lightly worked so that it does not become oily.

4. Spread these crumbly ingredients over the apples. Bake about 30 minutes. Serve hot or cold.
