2 lbs ground lean beef

2 large yellow onions, chopped

4 cups of water

2 15oz. cans tomato sauce

2 15oz. cans diced tomatoes

2 cups elbow macaroni, uncooked

salt to taste

Directions:
Directions:
-In a large pot, cook and stir gorund beef over medium high heat, breaking the meat up as it cooks
-Cook until meat is no longer pink, about 10 minutes
-Skim off extra fat and add in onions; cook and stir until the onions are translucent. About 10 minutes
-Stir in water, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, and salt
-Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat
-Reduce heat to low, cover and let simmer for 20 minutes;occasionally stirring
-Stir in macaroni,cover, and simmer on low heat until pasta is tender, about 25 minutes, stirring occasionally
-Remove from heat and serve
