Notes: My dear Auntie Vee gave me this recipe, she claims she doesn't cook so she had no recipes to give me. I know she doesn't cook much now since she will turn 92 in 2018, but she had a family of 5 to cook for and they were hearty eaters!!! I have made this pie several times and it is very nice to serve in summer. I have made it without the cherries added because I am not a fan of maraschino cherries, but they do add to the pie. Note: For those that don't know this is my Aunt Virgie from West Lafayette, Ohio, I found out her middle name was Verlee so I call her Auntie Vee!!!!
