Ingredients:  
2 T oil
1 onion, minced
3 slices bacon, chopped into 1/4" strips
2 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
2 bottles clam juice
2 cans clams
1-2 cups of cream (to taste)
Salt and pepper (to taste)

Directions:
Directions:
Saute` onions and bacon in oil until onion and bacon are limp but not crispy. Add clam juice and potatoes. Simmer until potatoes are just tender. Add clams, then cream.
