Clam Chowder Recipe

2 small onions, chopped
1/4 lb of salt pork (with hard top cut off) cut into small pieces
2 pints of quahogs (fresh or frozen) cut up
1 can of large tomatoes (24 oz)
1 can of tomato soup
8 cans of clams (use juice and all)
5 to 10 lbs of potatoes cut into small pieces
saltine crackers

Directions:

Fry onion and salt pork all together.
Then add quahogs. Cook all together for about 5 of 10 minutes then put it all in the blender and grind. Pour it back into the pan.
In the blender, mix can tomatoes can of tomato soup.
Add the tomato mixture, blender full of water and clams to the pan. Add potatoes to chowder.
To thicken the chowder grind about 2 packages of saltine crackers and pour it in the chowder (you may not need the whole thing).
Cook slowly for 2 to 3 hours.
