2 lb frozen hash browns
1/2 c melted butter
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp salt
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/4 c dry onion soup mix
1 16 oz sour cream
2 c shredded cheddar cheese

Topping:
2 c crushed corn flakes (or ritz crackers)
1/4 c melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
Partially defrost potatoes and combine all ingredients (excluding topping) in a large bowl. Mix thoroughly. Our into a greased 9X13 baking dish.

Mix together topping ingredients and pat on top of potatoes. Bake at 350º F for 1 hour.

Can be made night before and baked the next morning.
