1 T. chicken bacon drippings or butter
1 tsp. flour
½ cup vinegar
2 tsp. sugar
½ tsp. dry mustard
½ tsp. salt
⅛ tsp. pepper
1 egg yolk, beaten

Directions:
Directions:
Melt fat. Blend in flour and vinegar. Stir until mixture thickens. Mix together sugar, mustard, salt, and pepper. Add to liquid. Cook 4 minutes. Pour over beaten egg yolk and mix well. Return to heat and cook 1 minute longer. Makes about 1½ dressing. Can add caraway or celery seed, if desired.
