Cookie dough:
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. unsweetened chocolate powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 c. margarine, softened
1/4 c, peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla
1 egg

Filling:
3/4 c. peanut butter
3/4 c, confectionary sugar

Directions:
Directions:
In a small bowl combine first three ingredients. In a large bowl combine sugars, margarine, and peanut butter. Blend until light and fluffy. Add vanilla and egg, then beat well. Stir in flour mixture, blend well, set aside.

In a small bowl, combine filling ingredients, roll into 1 inch balls. With floured hands, shape about 1 T. of dough around each ball (cover completely). Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten each with a sugar covered glass bottom. Bake at 375 for 7-9 minutes, cool. Can be decorated if desired.
