Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
I included this recipe because just today I read the George Ray has died. He was the fellow who acted as the assistant on the KCTS cooking show. I cooked twice on that show and it was so much fun. I was on the brunch show and then Marti and I were on the
Ethnic Food show. We made Syrian bread among other things and I remember that the cameraman zoomed into the oven to
watch the bread rise. Marti and I were first on and after we were done and went back into the "green room", the rest of the
presenters clapped for us. That was pretty cool. We loved that experience.
PS. I think that the fact that Julie was working for KCTS at the time had something to do with our getting to do the shows.
Thanks Julie!!!
