2 c. water
½ tsp. salt
½ c. quick grits
3-4 cups Cheddar cheese
6 eggs
1 c. milk
½ tsp. dried thyme
⅛ tsp. garlic salt
1 lb. ground sausage, cooked, crumbled and drained

Directions:
Directions:
Boil water and salt, stir in grits. Reduce heat and cook 4 minutes. Combine eggs, garlic, salt, thyme and milk. Stir cheese into grits until melted. Add half grits to eggs mixture and mix well. Pour remaining grits into egg mix. Add sausage and stir well. Place in an 9 X 12 lightly greased pan. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Remove from refrigerator and let stand 15 minutes. Bake at 350º for 50-60 minutes uncovered.
