½ cup oleo
½ cup brown sugar
1½ cups flour

Topping
3 eggs, beaten
1½ cups brown sugar
¼ cup flour
1 tsp. baking powder
¼ tsp. salt
1½ cups coconut
1 cup nuts
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:

Base
Cream oleo and brown sugar well. Add flour and mix until you have coarse crumbs. Press into ungreased 9 x 13 pan. Bake 12 to 15 minutes at 350º.

Topping
Beat eggs until thick and foamy. Add sugar, flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix with fork. Add coconut, nuts, and vanilla. Spread over the base and bake 20 to 30 minutes at 350º.
