1 package of peas, depending on size you have in your freezer and how many you have to cook for.
1 quart peas is what I use.
Bacon, OR Salt Pork, OR Ham Hocl
Salt and Pepper to taste.

Cook until tender.
I usually cook mine about 1½ hours.
Dried peas will take longer to cook.
