1 16oz. bag frozen chopped spinach
1 can sliced water chestnuts
1 packet of Ranch salad dressing mix
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup sour cream
1 large sour dough round
1 baguette sour dough bread

Directions:
Directions:
Rinse and drain the spinach, squeeze out the water. This is the most important step for success with this recipe, the spinach should resemble a tightly packed ball.
Drain and medium chop the the water chestnuts
In a bowl mix the mayo, sour cream, and ranch packet, mix well. Add the water chestnuts and spinach, blend well.
Slice off the top off, save as a "lid", hollow out the sour dough round, save the inside for dipping. Pour the spinach mixture in to the cavity and place the lid on it and chill for 1-2 hours.
Slice the baguette for dipping

My Baby Cousin Zach came home to visit from the East Coast and I was not going to be able to join the family party. Zach called Auntie Bev and asked if she knew how to make "Jen's" spinach dip? She of course said yes, and at the party advised him to get Jen to make it from now on, because it's way to much work!! :)
